Major remodelling of a 140 m2 apartment in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Barcelona.
To add space to the place and make for a better layout, we removed the old non-load bearing walls and conducted structural reinforcements.
We installed suspended ceilings with acoustic absorbing properties, plumbing and indoor sanitation.
The entryway and kitchen were equipped with underfloor heating, while woodblock parquet was used in the rest of the house, except for bathroom, where the customer chose to use ceramic tile flooring.
Tailor-made furniture was procured for the kitchen and bathroom, along with home appliances of customer’s choice.
We also installed split-type air conditioning, gas heating and Smart Home system.
The interior color palette is a based on a combination of white, black and natural wood. It’s an interesting mix based on a timeless contrast. White adds light to the space, while black makes it look more elegant. Wood smooths out the contrast between black and white, and helps create a pleasant and cozy atmosphere.
